In August 2010 I sent my wristwatch,a1961 breitling 806 to this company.Everything this company told me has been a lie.I have asked on numerous (7)occasions to just send me my
watch back or to prove to me that they were still in posession of my timepiece.
The original promise was that the entire process would take four weeks maximum before I received my money. Here it is over six months later and still havent received my watch back or my money.I was originally told my watch would sell for four thousand dollars less their twenty eight percent commision. Then it was twenty eight hundred, then it was twenty one hundred.
My check has been in the mail since December 13, 2010.If by some miracle it does arrive,i would be afraid to cash it after reading other reviews where other victims checks bounced for
nsf or other reasons.I'm leaving out a lot of other details for lack of time so if you are thinking about doing business with webuywaches.com or watchbrokers.com,some friendly advice,DONT!

Still have not been paid (13 months)

As of today 10-8-11 webuywatches.com AKA watchbrokers.com has owed me over 1500 dollars for over 13 months. I stand behind everything I have said about this company. Funk legal Groups claims that all webuywatches.coms customers have been paid and I have done irreperable damage to this company, but it is the company that has done its own damage. Im simply stating a truth.
Unless you've been in a situation where you're basically helpless once they have your watch ,you
cant get calls through , Emails answered , just a total runaround. For a company that does the amount of business they claim to do ,1500 should not be a problem.
My purpose here is to make the public aware that webuywatches.com is a very professionally runscam. If theres any doubt , please call the Atlanta BBB. Their rating is an 'F'.
Dont send them your watch.

Dear Mr. John Gibbs:
Please be advised that my firm has been retained by Webuywatches to investigate and to take the necessary legal action for unwarranted and defamatory attacks against Webuywatches by you, user name, imlito.
Webuywatches has been in business for years and has been very successful in buying and selling watches to its customers throughout the world and satisfying their customers needs. Webuywatches.com has established a well founded reputation for the quality of its services and customer satisfaction. All customers who sold watches to Webuywatches.com did get paid in full. Webuywatches never, nor intended to deceive, withhold or steal from its customers whatsoever.
You specifically referenced to Webuywatches in your post that Webuywatches are deceptive, lying crooks are made with false accusations and without merit. In addition, they are misleading and defamation per se in that they depict my client as engaging in fraudulent activity that violates civil and criminal laws, thereby damaging my clients reputation and adversely affected its business.
My client acknowledges that monies are owed to you and a check for the amount owed to you is in queue for payment pursuant to their accounts payable records.
Pursuant Texas Law, Civil Prac. & Rem. Code 73.001. A libel is a defamation expressed in written or other graphic form that tends to blacken the memory of the dead or that tends to injure a living person's reputation and thereby expose the person to public hatred, contempt or ridicule, or financial injury or to impeach any person's honesty, integrity, virtue, or reputation or to publish the natural defects of anyone and thereby expose the person to public hatred, ridicule, or financial injury.
Your attempts to spread libelous and defamatory material about my client have caused serious and irreparable injury to it, its reputation, and its business. My client will not stand by this and allow this misconduct to continue.
I hereby demand that you;
1. Immediately remove all defamatory and disparaging remarks made by you, and
2. Immediately cease and desist in posting any defamatory statements about my client,
Please note that this firm does not attempt to restrict legitimate free speech, and this firm believes that the internet is an important medium for dissemination of accurate and truthful information and for fair comment on issues of the interest. However, the activities on Rip Off Report have unlawfully encroached upon my clients rights.
The purpose of the rebuttal is to put you on notice that if in the event you refuse to comply with the demands set forth herein, I will have no choice to recommend my client pursue all causes of action, including filing a lawsuit to protect its interest, including seeking court costs and attorney fees incurred by my client as a result of your actions.
