On the 4th of Oc.t 2013 I received a trust check that was due on the 1st. The checks always seem to be a week late, Well’s Fargo blames The post office.. Before Well’s Fargo acquired the bank that held the Trust before them, my the checks were never late. On this occasion I was close to a branch office in Anderson,SC and decided to cash the check rather than deposit at my regular BBT bank. When I finally got to the counter I presented the check, my drivers license and my university ID. The teller then put an ink pad on the counter and wanted my finger print. I said sure, but give me a tissue to wipe the ink off.. I was informed to just rub it on my other fingers. I said “ I would rather not, I wanted to get the ink off my fingers, if you would give me one of the tissues from the box beside you”. She then informed me to just rub it on my jeans.
I was just flabbergasted at this and replied that I did not want the ink on my clothes Or my fingers. At this point another teller comes up and ask why I’m abusing her teller.
When I said I was only asking for a tissue to wipe ink from my fingers.. She started to Berate and raise her voice saying she did not like me abusing her teller.. When I said I Only ask for a tissue to remove ink, she took one out of the box and threw it on the counter.
Then stated she was not going to cash the banks check that was payable to me.. I was rude. She Then refused to sign a statement she would not cash it. When I ask for her name she Snatched a card from the first teller and scrawled “Refused to cash check because he Was verbally abusive…” When I laughed and said I did not know asking for customer Service by asking three times for a tissue was abusive.. The little n**i turned bright red And started to mumble as she watched me walk out.. When I got home I called the Trust office in Winston Salem, N.C. to let them know how bad customers are treated,
The young lady had nothing to offer.. I did let them know that I would never use Well’s Fargo and would take great pleasure in relating the lack of customer service and disrespect.
As a sixty three year old, retired university type I will take great pleasure in advising all the Students of the way Well’s fargo treats customers.. and yes, the trust I am setting up for My two grandsons will not be at Well’s Fargo.. I will take great pleasure in informing my Friends and associates not to use Well’s Fargo, I only have to show them the losses and fees from the trust statement. I hope that the cost of that tissue is worth it to Well’s Fargo.

First off..if it was due on the 1st, receiving it on the 4th is NOT a week late.
As for the rest..when people post on sites like these they will often make themselves coming off looking like they were the nicest person in the world and the "attitude" was all on the other side. But as people know there are always 3 sides to every story. Your side, their side, and somewhere in the middle the truth.
So while a company should always have good customer service, there are points when the customer is unreasonable making it almost impossible.
By the way when you called the Trust Office exactly what did you want them to "offer"? And don't say it was just an appology because if they gave you an appology you would then say that it was not sincere and they didn't mean it.
