Wilhelmina Scouting Network, Transcontinental Talent ripoff, scam, thieves, greedy, liars Orlando Florida

After reading a report on Wilhelmina, I had no choice but to file my own report. I'm sure I am not the first, nor the last person to site this company and it's greedy owner Lou Pearlman as nothing but a greedy, self-absorbed one.

After seeing an ad on the TV about "Being Discovered," I attended an open call with my daughter, who is 4. At the open call, as I looked around the room, I noticed people who definately should not have been there. I know people have dreams and aspirations, but this company set up a "2nd interview" with everyone...beautiful or beautifully challenged. I thought, "hey, why not give it a shot...you never know." Yeah, never know where your money actually goes to.

The following monday, at the 2nd interview, he told me about the business, what it does, and so forth. Then, at the very end is when they told me it was a $795fee. WHAT!!!?? That didn't even include pictures. I gave them my money, and decided I would wait a little longer and just set my daughter up. A year later, she hasn't received ONE booking request...NOT ONE!! Now, my daughter is drop dead gorgeous, I tell you no lie...where's the service now?

Another thing is, three months after I signed my daughter up, I went to the open call. This time to make it look good, they told only 2 people they weren't what WSN was looking for at that time. I got the second interview, but this time the fee went up to $995, plus the $19.95 fee monthly. I have received booking requests, but it's obvious they don't actually read their models profiles, because I received a request for Cosmo's Sexiest Man. UH,HELLOOOOO people, I'm a woman. I was also naive enough to pay these people another $495 to get bad pictures taken. And, you didn't even get pictures, just a disc with the pictures on it.

So, what do I do now? I am EXTREMELY ticked off, and am considering getting a lawyer to get ALL my money back. Well over $2300 later and I haven't made one penny back...not one. The funny thing is, they charge another $895 to attend the FASHION ROCK events, which again, doesn't guarantee a job. How many people have to lose their money? When will someone stand up to these bigwigs? When will I get my money back?

WILHELMINA NEEDS TO BE PUNISHED!!!!
