This software is a complete ripoff and may in fact be a scam itself!

They bill themselves as the best spyware on the market and entice you with splash ads about "FREE" software. After you download the software and it supposedly finds all of your spyware and viruses, you then have to purchase the software for $40. I purchased it and ran it, it told me it found and removed numerous bad things on my PC, but guess what! It all comes back instantly after the scan is completed!

They have no usable contact info and do not respond to emails!

totally agree with jeff from seville, ohio

AUTHOR: Shawna From Oroville - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 14, 2009

yes, i totally agree with jeff from seville, ohio. i have similar experience with products of paretologic (regcure). i told them i am not satisfied with what the regcure is doing with my pc and that i am going to uninstall it because i feel that my pc is running a trouble with it when it is suppose to optimize it, as they advertised. they don't have an easy accessible customer contact info to navigate in their site when you are not satisfied with their products. i tried to email few times trying to ask for the refund of my money and they replied asking to send them an e-mail with attached captured problem of what my pc was having. my pc's trouble is happening at random so i am still working on that. why can't just they give my money back when i am still within the period of their 60 day trial customer satisfaction? they site site easy navigation to entice of downloading their software for free but then you end paying more than the amount they advertise. they are really a scam!

My experience with Paretologic

AUTHOR: Granny - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, March 07, 2009

I have to agree with Brent about a lot of people not knowing how to work their programs or hardware. It is an unfortunate thing that goes on all of the time; then they bad mouth the program as useless.

I think Jeff's major complaint was that the company did not give the support that he felt that he paid for. Without support, then the program and the company both are totally useless in my opinion.

My problem lies in the area of not reading everything before I start clicking buttons and that is part of what happened with Paretologic and their site. I was updating my drivers when all of a sudden their page took over what I was doing. I really hate it when a company hijacks the page that I am working on.

Without going into a lot of detail, I clicked the button for a free scan and then they tell me that I have to buy a program to update all of my drivers. Excuse me, but I am very well capable of spending the time that it takes to update my drivers and if I wanted to spend money for someone else to do it for me, I would do my own search.

xoftspy is the ONLY program that worked for me

AUTHOR: Bob - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, July 16, 2007

XoftSpy and Pareto Logic are NOT ripoff products. I had several serious problems with my computers over the last few years, including total OS failure. I was reading in a forum to try XoftSpy, so I did. It restored my computer from an almost complete failure, where I could only get into safe mode. This product really works and I recommend it to everyone I talk to. Small price to pay for a clean running machine. It's the only spyware/virus program I use.

More Info Needed

AUTHOR: Brent - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, May 25, 2007

Contrary to "Jeff - from Seville, Ohio" I know first hand that XoftSpy DOES WORK and is a most effective tool. But it is only one tool... to properly protect your computer you MUST have additional tools.

I would MORE impressed if I knew how this "Jeff - from Seville, Ohio" had his computer set up.

Better then 70% of people who own a computer do not understand even it's most basic functions or hardware. Of those almost half do not have updated anti-virus software.
I know from first hand use that Xoftspy really does work but without additional software i.e. anti-virus, firewall, etc. it will be a loosing battle.

I recommend that "Jeff - from Seville, Ohio" learn a little more about his computer and how better to protect it (and himself) from the internet before making grandiouse accusations and trying to slander the name of a product that actually does what it says it will do.

-Cheers,
Brent
