Accurate Engines Accurate Engines Told me they could sell me a complete long block, received partial short block that was not remanufactured. No heads, no gaskets, no oil pump, they welded my cams, the block looks to be someones core that they shot paint on and sent to me. Grandville Michigan

Talked with salesman and he said he could get me the same long Block as another company I had tried to buy a motor from for an amount of $3884. He said it may not come with tinware, (oil pan, valave cover gaskets) but it would be a complete long block with the high-volume oil pump. I asked if the cams and timing would be installed and he said yes and that the journals for oil would be enlarged to help defeat the problems Ford had with these motors.

So I ordered the motor under the assumption that his word of having it delivered to me in 10 days would be true. It actually took a bit longer and I text him and told him it had been long enough and I wanted a full refund on the motor. I immediately received a response back which was confusing because they never respond, but they said the motor had already shipped and they were sorry.

So then the motor arrives later than they actually stated it would and I had to leave at that time to go home to Florida so I dropped the motor and my truck off at The Ford dealership to have installed. I proceeded to leave and go to Florida for a week. I received a call that there would be an additional $800-$1400 in parts that were not with the motor.

I agree that more than likely there would be some things that were missing, oil pan or valve covers, or oil and filters and such. So I agreed. When I got back I went and picked up the computer (PCM) for the truck to send over to Accurate engines, they received it overnight. The next day when I was to receive it back it never showed so I left 70 to 80 text messages emails and phone calls trying to figure out where my computer was so they could put it back in the truck.

That was when the dealership said that the motor was not a long block. I asked if it had heads on it and they said no as a matter of fact there was not even an oil pump. The Ford dealer said that the motor looked like somebody had just sprayed paint on it and sent it out. That left me thinking they more than likely took someones 'core' and shot paint on it and sent it to me without rebuilding it. At this point the price to repair it was at $5100 for extra parts needed.

The next day more parts were found needed and now I'm at around $7000 to install the motor. I immediately contacted My credit card company and opened a dispute wanting half of the money back for the half motor that I received. Now I want a Full refund. Next Day The Ford dealership gets the motor running and calls me to tell me that once it heated up the freeze plugs blew out of it because they had never been changed since the motor had not been rebuilt as Accurate engines had stated it was.

Now the Ford dealership is rounding up parts once again to install freeze plugs in the motor which I am sure will cost another thousand which will total $12,000 for the motor to be installed. Now I am wanting a full refund for this crap that was installed in my truck. I do not believe that they should get this motor back since I do not have the funds to tear into the motor again to pull it apart and out to replace. I just hope it actually last long enough to drive home to Florida from Texas.
