Acoustic Dog Daniel Hancock Wade Alin Failed construction of acoustic ceiling Brooklyn New York

I hired them to mitigate the sound of footsteps in my ceilings above. They swindled me into believing that they knew what they were doing but after their work was complete there was absolutely no difference in terms of sound mitigation of footsteps. They pretended that they knew what they were doing, told me they had extensive experience in this area. At the end of their work they hustled me for even more money than the contract and I foolishly paid. After their work I consulted numerous experts who work on ceilings and they all told me that the materials applied to my ceiling are not for mitigation of footsteps. Working with "Acousticdog" and Daniel Hancock and Wade Alin was a terrible experience and it is clear they did not know what they were doing. I highly recommend doing your due diligence if you ever have to work with them and know what you could potentially be getting into. This mistake cost me over 70,000 and I need to pay for all the work to be ripped out and started over. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with their work (they originally tricked me into paying with the noise of construction in the background) they did not even have the decency to respond to me or my architect. There has been zero communication despite the fact that I sent an email with video showing the results of their work expressing my disappointment. They are incredibly disrespectful and untalented. Beware.
