Complaint Review: AerLingus -
AerLingus Aerlingus cancels US flights and refuse to issue refunds.
This airline sent an email in June stating all flights from the US are cancelled in a specific timeframe, this impacted my travel. They did not offer refunds instead you have to make a "request” for one. I completed my request and waited for a month, I contacted them and they told me I needed to be patient and it would be "reviewed” in a couple of business day. It’s now over two months, I have called multiple times and have been told it will be escalated. I have asked for a supervisor and they say there are no supervisors, and I have to email them on their website.
They have hung up on me for asking why I am not receiving a refund and it’s over two months. I believe they intend to keep all of our consumer monies on cancelled flights. On their social media page you can people hundreds of posts of people waiting since March 2020. I want people to beware of this airline, do not book travel with them.
