I applied for an auto refiance loan via CreditKarma.com. Once last year and again this year. Within a week scam calls started pouring in to both me and my employer. The first time it happened, I didn't connect the two. This time I realized why. AG and Associates is a scammer who brought my info from credit karma. AG will request you call them at (888) 310-3585.
They will leave a very alarming voicemail. Once you return their call they will demand money for debts that are not real. They will even tell you your full ssn over the phone! AG Associates claimed I took out a payday loan and never paid it back. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PAYDAY LOAN. If you refuse, they will threaten to take you to court or send people to your house.
One "agent" got so upset, he started cursing and called me out of my name. Credit Karma is selling your information to fake companies. Please be careful when applying for credit via Credit Karma's website. Also - DO NOT GIVE AG & ASSOCIATES A DIME! Report them to FTC and share your expereince online so that others do not fall victim.
They will harass you and continue to call you, your employer, and family! Do not fall for the scam. Nothing they will tell you is real. They will not take you to court and should not be harassing you. They are a FAKE COMPANY that preys on the unsuspecting.
