I bonded a friend out after a DUI. I engaged Alexander Bonding and paid a $ 4700 cash bond. Once the court proceedings concluded, I contacted Alexander Bonding for my refund. They told me to send the certified disposition, which I did via registered mail immediately.

They said the refund would be out within thirty days. I was never contacted, so I followed up. They said the couldn't refund me because they could not find the original reciept of the bond. Luckily, I had it handy in my google drive. I provided it via email.

They said the refund would be in the mail the following week. I never recieved it so I followed up. I spoke to a woman named Norma, who said she was out sick but would have it in the mail the next week. I called the following week and spoke to Norma who began to fake cry and tell me a story of her terrible strep throat and hospitalizion as an excuse for not processessing refunds.

The excuses and promises of a refund being in the mail next week continued, but the refund never came. Upon investigating, I learned I was not alone in my experience. Several consumers reported in the google reviews they too had paid, been promised a refund and never recieved it.

The business has an F with the Better Business Bureau and four reports of the exact same story from different people. The company does not possess a business license. I am really not sure how they are permitted to illegally operate.
