DO NOT BUY FROM AliExpress OR ALIBABA.com!
I purchased a Qty of 2 Optima 34/78 AGM batteries from Bill tools store on aliexpress.com. I had them shipped via FedEx and they were supposed to ship from a US location. Received tracking info from the seller a couple days after the order. Tracking info was not valid, I asked them to send me a valid tracking number. They sent another tracking number five days later showing a package that had been delivered 2 days prior. I never received a package and the pic of the door from FedEx as proof of delivery was NOT my door. I searched all over the neighborhood. FedEx showed it as delivered but then I found out the seller sent me a fraudulent tracking number. This number is for a package delivered to someone else. When I reported the missing package to FedEx their security asks you to enter the destination address. FedEx's system gave me an error because the address did not match. FedEx cannot give out the actual address or the actual recipient's name due to security reasons so there is NO WAY to provide evidence it was NOT my package. All they would tell me, via FedEx phone support, was that the package was NOT addressed to me and did NOT have my street address.
I filed a case through PayPal, they denied it because the package showed delivered. I then tried to get a refund through AliExpress. AliExpress denies the claim because they have a tracking number that says delivered even though it is NOT a package sent to me. They never bothered to actually look at the pics I sent them showing proof the package was NOT sent to me in the first place. I also produced evidence that the package CANNOT contain the items I ordered. The package they said was mine FedEx tracking Number 278593077211 weighs only 25 pounds. Just one of the two batteries I purchased weighs 38.8 pounds.
No way this could be my package containing two 38-pound batteries. I have specs on the battery to prove weight. AliExpress customer service is awful, they provide NO buyer protection and no help whatsoever. Even the customer service chat representatives LIE and tell you will be transferred to another dept but then the time on the chat runs out. They did that just to get me off the chat. I'm out $400 and no one at AliExpress seems to care at all. Please for your own sake DO NOT buy from AliExpress or Alibaba.com who owns AliExpress. They are a COMPLETE and TOTAL SCAM!
