American Leak Detection, Spring, TX Wrong finding, incompetence Spring Texas

In April I called American Leak Detection because water was running down a wall in my garage. The ALD "tech" inspected and produced a written report concluding that the problem was a leak in the garage ceiling and the water was rain water.

I called a plumber the next day to fix the problem. After he tore down the wall he showed me the leak. It was a hot water pipe inside the wall. The water on the floor was warm. I called the ALD "tech" and invited him to come by and see for himself. He commented "we all make mistakes" and promised to have my credit card charge of $275 canceled.

I sent an email to ALD, stating above facts. They never responded and didn't reverse their charge.

ALD's so-called "techs" cannot even distinguish between rain water leak and hot water pipe leak. Draw your own conclusion.
