They're all about perception. They'll tell you exactly what you want to hear. To simplify, when your machine begins to have issues (and any DTG machine will have issues) they'll burn up so much of your time trying to troubleshoot over the phone (and I mean days) that your machine will begin to get worse because of all the ink sitting in there not circulating.
You then have to purchase additional parts, on top of the extra ink (very expensive) you'll have to buy because through all the troubleshooting they'll have you flush any and all ink you may have in the cartridges. They will literally take your money and do the least possible to help you get going again.
This is why they changed their name from AnaJet to Ricoh to start over with their brand name, hoping to reinvent themselves. It's still the same people working there with the same horrible and I mean horrible customer service! We finally gave up on them and went with a Brother GTX. This machine is a true workhorse!
The customer service, let's just say this, a technician actually came out to our place of business to assist us (3 months after buying our first machine) without us even having to request or pay for it! They completely did that all on their own. Now that's what I call true customer service from a company that really cares about their customers.
We're now in the process with purchasing our fourth GTX from them and the others are running as good as they were when we first got them. Pay close attention to AnaJet/Ricoh's other consistent bad reviews with their customer service and just dealing with them as a company. Trust me on this, don't give AnaJet/Ricoh a chance with your money.
It's money you worked very hard for and you need to invest with a company that will work just as hard to help keep your business thriving. ***TrustPilot has been caught taking payoffs for good reviews. It's not just me saying it because it's all over the internet.

#1 UPDATE Employee
Incorrect information about Ricoh & Anajet

Hey sorry you had a bad experience with Anajet but you are incorrect that Anajet changed their name to Ricoh. Ricoh is Japanese owned and sells office products that they mostly manufacture under the Ricoh/Savin and Lanier brand.
They do not manufacture Anajet units but could be selling them through their direct channel. Anajet has not changed their name to Ricoh. Glad things worked out and you found a unit that works for you and sorry for your bad experience.
