Who Agreed to Rent This Place for $1900/Mo? You?

AUTHOR: The OG Jerk - (United States)

POSTED: Monday, July 03, 2023

On the renter's side who agreed to pay $1900/mo for the premises?  Was it not inspected/viewed by the renter prior to paying for it?  By reading your statement your the one who agreed to $1900/mo plus a $1900 Security Deposit (that is usual and customary practice when renting).  You chose to rent with abandoned cars in the yard, washers and dryers in the yard, laundry appliances plugged into a closet light socket, no smoke detectors and the toilet falling thru the floor.  What does this say about you?  The animal smell would of been a straight up no thanks on it's own for me.

You obviously do not comprehend how leasing works.  You pay a security deposit and first month's rent then a month later the landlord expects you to pay another month's rent.  This happens each month until you move out.  I seriously doubt the property had any of the issues you listed because only a very desperate or low iq person would rent that and not know how to look up their rights.

False report.
