Laurie and Gerd are f***ing insane. Every step of the process nearly left my wife in tears. During the booking process and planning, Laurie acted as if everything me and my (then fiance) requested was a personal inconvience for her. Getting her to do the bare minimum was like pulling teeth.
Finally, on the big day, Laurie and Gerd were acting like reluctant hosts for someone else's property. They yelled at my vendors, my guests, and my bridal party. They attempted to have my DJ stop the music early because one of the guests spilled their drink on the floor.
Multiple contracted things were wrong, and honestly, it's not worth trying to get my money back if I have to talk to the owners again.
