Long story short.  We purchased a home, with a home warranty.  The garbage disposal went out.  ARK Plumbing was selected by First American Home Warranty.  The first problem was the First American Home Warranty doesn't thoroughly vet their contractors or vendors, as I discovered ARK Plumbing isn't at all licensed, and work under a company called AMPCO North, Inc.  The second problem is that a unit was installed already out of the box and scratched up.  Naturally, I protested with the technician immediately, but of course, he says the unit is completely new, but was just out of the box rolling around in his truck and that he didn't have another new one.  

So, they won't replace it and here we are.  I'll need to come out of pocket now to replace it again!  

So be WARNED, stay away from Ark Plumbing and AMPCO North, Inc.
