shley Lauren Chapman (Ashley Murray) Ashley Chapman Ashley Murray Ashley Chapman, AKA Ashley Murray works as in Sales at the Courtyard Marriott on University Drive in Huntsville, AL. She obtained this job with a fraudulent resume, and was fired from the Doubletree Hotel a few weeks before starting her current job for credit card fraud. Specifically, she illegally used a corporate credit card from a subsidiary to book a hotel under a friends name in order to secretly live in the very hotel she worked at, due to being homeless after getting evicted for refusing to pay rent for over 4 months. When confronted by her previous employers manager, she then secured the $800 she stole from the company by requesting money from men off a “sugar daddy” website, claiming her father had just passed away. Rather than admit to her wrongdoing, Ashley Chapman instead placed the blame on the persons name she’d booked the room under in order to avoid detection. This was her THIRD firing from hotel sales positions in under 5 months: she was fired from her General Manager position at another hotel for sneaking into vacant rooms and sleeping on the hotel beds during the entirety of her shifts. She was employed there for roughly 7 days. Additionally, Ashley Chapman/Ashley Murray routinely uses and possesses heroin and meth during work hours, as she is a documented long time IV drug user. She has been arrested for child torture and child endangerment of her own sons, which she is not allowed to visit per a court order due to refusing to submit to court ordered drug testing as well as falsifying drug screen results and submitting them to the court. As of 6/29/2023, she has active warrants for her arrest and is under investigation for drug dealing and possession following an incident where she dropped a syringe full of heroin in a grocery store while babysitting another individuals children. She uses her knack for smooth talking and lying to secure prestigious jobs in order to use her title to hide her drug dealing activities and maintain an appearance of responsibility. Unfortunately, this woman has gone so far as to falsely claim both during court proceedings and engage in slander throughout Madison and Huntsville in order to try and gain sympathy for her custody proceedings by spreading fabricated stories that her mother slept with her ex husband while Ashley attended a drug rehab. She had admitted in private that this is a lie and ploy to win custody of her sons from her ex husband, who has raised them without any financial support from Ashley Chapman for over 6 years. 

The father of Ashley Chapman/Ashley Murray's sons is a well respected and valuable analyst at a large defense contractor and has been so for over a decade. Along with his new wife, they have raised Ashley's sons alone, due to visitation being suspended after Ms. Chapman/Ms. Murray fell asleep while driving her children after injecting heroin during one of her visits with the children. She has publicly stated that she would cut her ex husbands break lines and falsely accuse the stepmother of medical negligence in order for her to lose her license to practice. Additionally, after being caught purchasing heroin and meth while attending her sons little league game in May 2023, this woman decided to further her personal vendetta against the couple raising her sons by fabricating a multitude of events in order to try and take her sons away from the living family they know and love. She has gone so far as to falsely accuse several witnesses that are set to testify to these and more facts that prove her unfit to parent her children, accusing anyone named as a witness for her ex husband of crimes ranging from infidelity to prescription drug abuse to even accusing the spouse of a key witness of running a drug trafficking ring. The lengths this woman will go to in order to preserve the narrative she has fabricated knows no bounds: she has assaulted a key witness, intimidated her own mother and threatened various family members, and lied to her employer on several occasions, stating her tardiness was due to an issue with one of her sons, which she is not allowed to visit.

If Courtyard Marriott properly vetted their candidates, they would have immediately been aware that her resume is a complete fabrication, and had they even checked with previous hotels Ashley Chapman claims to have worked at for several years they would have been made aware that this woman has held 8 jobs in 18 months, as it is impossible to hold down a long term job while using hard drugs on a daily basis. The fraud she has and still continues to commit, both in her career and personal life as well as with the courts is reprehensible and a well-respected chain such as Marriott should know better than to hire with only a single interview and no fact checking. At the end of the day, this woman cares only about her drugs and how others view her, Anyone who would lock their toddlers in a car in the middle of winter for 6 hours alone while perusing Walmart high on meth should not be permitted to run any aspect of booking rooms for families and traveling professionals.
