John Guillot/Atlas Construction & Remodeling was contracted to build a deck at my home. He started the job using non-treated lumber and did a shoddy job. He asked for the money upfront so he could purchase the wood. He not only left the project substantially incomplete, he damaged my yard, curb, sprinkler system, chiminea and several new plants and left a huge mess.
He was rude and disgusting. When I told him I was going to have to take him to court, he said, "do what you have to do."
After researching him, I found that he has a criminal history and he has walked out on jobs in the past. He has a least one lawsuit against him in Galveston County.
