My car was delivered late from Huntsville, AL to Tucson, AZ for a job move. The people that transported the car damaged my rack and pinion, the undercarriage splash panel was ripped off and lost, underneath was scraped from grinding on the trailer as they backed it off for delivery and extra mileage was put on that was unaccounted for. There was also a lot of tar on the underside of my engine and transmission.
I put a claim in and it was denied even with strong evidence from the dealership that this could only have been done by a transport service. I had to fork my own bill for the costs (diagnostics, around $200, and fixing the rack & pinion which ended up around $1500). They said that they would mail out a check in "good faith" but I have never received the check.
