I hired Autohauler to ship my newly bought vehicle from Chilliwack to Calgary. First of they lured me in by quoting almost half price ($600-700) of what they ended up charging me. Secondly, they consistently lied throughout the whole process.

After changing their timeline multiple times they finally picked up my vehicle from sellers location. Next week I received a call from them telling me that the vehicle is in Calgary and that I should pay the full amount and then I'll be told the location to pick up the vehicle. They send me a quotation of $1155 and when I asked them about the wrong pricing they told me that I don't have any option left other than paying it.

I paid it all and then they started lying to me again mentioning some 'delays'. The customer service was even worse. The guy Adam would lie straight at your face and was totally pathetic. They even told me not to call them again and to contact them just via email and that all I can do was to wait until they sort out their own mess.

I called Business Bureau and they told me that there are so many red flags (no physical address, dealing in etransfers, etc.) that they even suspected that these guys are scammers. At that point I suspected that I almost lost my vehicle.



Thankfully, I was able to locate my car with the help of a third party. They had it left unattentended in a hotel parking lot some 15kms from their initial pick up location.

No one had an idea about the vehicle at the hotel other than that someone was supposed to pick up the keys from the reception. Now, I am contacting them for a refund but they won't even bother responding my emails of call. The amount of stress and financial loss that I got in this whole process compelled me to report it so that it can protect others from the same.

If I can get any help in this matter it will be highly appreciated.
