AUTOLUX RENT Failed to return $500 Deposit as promised hollywood california

Avoid at all costs ! Ripoff Alert I rented a car and noted that the 500 deposit was very high. Ugene assured me that it would be refunded upon return of the car. When I returned the car i was told it would take 5 business days to "PROCESS" my deposit - That was LIE #1. 5 days later the I'd still not received my deposit, so I called. They claimed that they'd sent the deposit days ago, so I called my bank. They said there was no sign of any transaction. That was LIE #2. I was forced to make a claim with the bank. In summation, I was told that they'd sent back my deposit but my bank never received it. (UPDATE) - in a subsequent call with UGENE he lied again (LIE #3) telling me that he'd refunded my money. He said, "there's nothing I can do about it, it's the banks fault."
