On October 13, 2023, we traveled from PA to finalize the purchase of the Evoque, which was advertised as AutoNation 125-point certified. After an extended wait and a software update, we noticed several issues, including low coolant, an empty wiper fluid reservoir, and low tire pressure. Most concerning was the vehicle shaking when applying the brakes.

Despite contacting Mr. Glenn Scott, we were told the vehicle was inspected with no issues found. Further conversations revealed that unless a brake issue is deemed a safety concern, they would not be responsible for repairs. We have since consulted two local mechanics who confirmed the need for front rotors and brakes.

After struggling to get a response from General Manager Anthony Palumbo, we were informed that repairs would only be made if deemed necessary for safety. This raises significant questions about the validity of the AutoNation certification and MD state inspection, especially since we purchased a vehicle that was supposed to be "certified" but had multiple issues upon delivery.

We attempted to resolve this matter directly with Audi Hunt Valley but were met with insufficient support. Moreover, when we had the vehicle repaired, we discovered the wheel lock key was missing, and although Mr. Scott acknowledged this, Audi Hunt Valley did not cover the costs for new wheel locks or the fee to remove the existing ones.

Additionally, we learned that the previous owner had reported brake issues just a week prior to the sale, which raises serious concerns about the integrity of the certification process. We believe Audi Hunt Valley misrepresented the condition of this vehicle for profit, which we view as fraudulent and unethical. We are requesting reimbursement for the brake repair, the cost incurred for removing the wheel locks, and new Land Rover wheel locks, totaling $1,460.33 plus the cost of the replacement wheel locks.
