It seems that I am not the only one reporting a very negative experience with AVIS.  I have rented vehicles from AVIS at different worldwide locations.  I was never treated with such disrispect as in the US.  "Agent Jones" from the loss prevention department phone number +1 (267) 978-2583 is awful at customer service.  I travel for my company across the globe and sometimes need a vehicle for over 30 days.  I never had problems with this in any other country and it's one of the main reasons why my company still uses AVIS from my travels.

Then after years of renting from AVIS, I was contacted by Agent Jones threatening to report my vehicle stolen and an issue arrest warrant.  Then he contacted my mother who lives in a diferent state and sent her the same information.  She was very worried and contacted me imediately.  I called Agent Jones directly, and when he realized that they had made a mistake instead of correcting the situation they simply stoped answering the phone and sent me a text message telling me to "go get some rest".  My experience with AVIS loss prevention department in the US has been awful and they treat customers with disrispect, umprofessionalism, intimidation, harrasment, and dishonesty.

They work together to make you think you'll be saving with a long term solution for my business as a travel nurse by saving 30% then charge 1700 in stead of about 800-1000 instead of saving 30 % and your monthly bill on the very basic request car send threatening texts and phone calls your mini lease has not been set up and your still renting daily and then in stead of your daily invoice totally 40.13 cents a day ( I would have posted my invoice how is a daily fee more than a long term mini lease?) inflate the bill and Agent Kevin Jones calling at dinner time you have to bring the car back or the police will be impounding it and what did they do, exactly that, as a school nurse could not get to work. My husbands work tools and medical supplies were in there as well as my credit cards and a very important documents and my medication. And just as the previous complaint states they ignore your calls. I disputed the charges with the bank. But as for my job that's an entirely different story - thanks for helping a nurse out. So my husband calls to get the info for us to pick up our stuff and they tow it to a different state? And he says he doesn't know anything not if they will try to charge us a fee , the address. Customer service claims all they can do is take payment?
