Put a comment on Facebook that I was looking for a weilder to make me a custom bumper/brush guard for my 89 Ford F-150 4x4 and Michael Billingsley contacted me saying he was a weilder and could make my bumper/brush guard no problem. He came from Milwaukie. Oregon to my home in Camas, Washington and gave me a quote of $850.00 that I agreed to.

He wanted $400.00 down and he had a account to use my credit debit card on that I authorized the $400.00 to. He then wanted to take my stock bumper that was in perfect condition to use for taking measurements off of and I allowed him to remove my bumper and take it with him. So he got my $400.00 and my good front bumper off my truck!

He was supposed to come back the next weekend but was a no show? I sent him a text message asking what happened? Made a excuse he was sick and just hadn't got the bumper finished yet. But had all the metal cut out ready to weild it all together and be out the next weekend. Again no show!  Text him again and tells me he got bad news that he had drilled thru a finger and been at the hospital getting it stiched up. But the bumper/brush guard was done except just needed painted.

Was supposed to be out the following Monday. Again no show! Text him again, another bs excuse that his finger still wasn't healed enough to use it yet. I told him no problem. I'll just come get my bumpers and brush guard and paint it and put it on my truck myself. He didn't want to let me have anything. Instead he promised he be fine in a couple days and be able to bring it out to my house and install it then. Once again no show?

Text him again, suddenly no more responses back at all. Tried numerous times that showed my texts were delivered but again no responses back at all! Obviously nothing but a scammer! Believe he took my bumper and $400.00 and never planned on doing anything but scamming me out of whatever he could get out of me!

I've done a little research on this guy and his company ( Bache Built Welding and Fabrication) And he's allegedly has ripped off numerous other people too. I'm certainly not his first to scam! He does have a Facebook account if you put a search for his name or probably his company as well. Beware of this person, I have no doubt he'll keep ripping off people as long as he can! Don't be one of his victims!
