They claimed they sent a barbell to me but the product was never recieved. Once the product was marked delivered there was no proof of delivery of anything actually delivered. Once I found out that nothing was delivered I decided to take matters into my own hands and file a claim with FedEx and my credit card. I tried to purchase another barbell because they lost my first one and wouldn’t refund me or even send me a replacment bar. So after I filed a claim with both fedex and my credit card company they begin Jim seitzer decided to reach out via email and give me a phone call.

Jim began the phone call by accusing me of being fraudulent after he lost my item and said they won’t refund me until the bar is back to them and is usable condition. I then said one the barbell was never in my possession so if it doesn’t come back or isn’t I’m working condition I can’t control that you’ll have to take that up with FedEx. He proceeded to tell me to f*ck myself, “ hey you f*cking piece of sh*t, your a fruadelent person who is claiming you didn’t f*cking recieved the bar when you did you f*cking liar, I am not refunding you ever I hope you f*cking did you stupid mother f*cker” I proceeded to tell him you are going to refund me my money I’ve never recieved the item which isn’t my fault and if you do not refund me im going to get my legal team involved. He proceeded to hang up on me but before he hung up told me “fucckkkkkkkk you at the top of his lungs I am not refunfing you f*cking sh*t” then hung up like a child.

I then tried to call him back and he proceeded to yell “f*ck youuuuuu!” At the top of his lungs and hung up again like a child. i am now trying to resolve this problem but the company had not returned any of my emails or my money for all purchases and had stolen thousands of dollars from me and will continue to do this if people don’t know about this I want to let people know before they too become a victim of this rip off fraudulent company.

 In defense of our long-standing reputation of honest, trustworthy and impeccable business practices, we issue the following rebuttal. The facts are as follows - they are documented and provable: The customer, whom we presume is Charles Distefano, purchased our products under a false name, Ben Smith, on 8/29/2020 through our website via PayPal. The individual then claimed not to have received the shipment even though the shipper, FedEx, reported the delivery had been made through their online tracking service at www.fedex.com.

What followed next were a series of lies and coverups, perpetrated through emails, demanding an immediate refund all the while still claiming FedEx never made the delivery. On 9/10/2020, Mr. Distefano stated in an email that the barbell and its contents were "being returned to the sender." This is further proof the package was received and then surreptitiously shipped back to our business location. We can only conclude that the purchase made, under false pretenses, was a set up and that Mr. Distefano had every intention of pulling a scam from the very beginning.

To be fair, BandBell has every intention of refunding Mr. Distefano once the shipment is returned and if the contents are undamaged and not missing. After 13 years of being in business and having earned a stellar reputation for excellent business practices and customer service, we bristle at fraudulent accusations like this, especially when the facts are abundantly clear.
