Barretts Soft Water Barretts Echo Water Poor Quality water softener+No service= lost money Montgomery Illinois

This company offers what they call a reconditioned water softener with a one year warranty. Immediately after installation the unit does not soften.  Many phone messages and emails later and the company will not do anything about it even though the invoice they gave me says there is a warranty for one year.

The ridiculous suggestion from them is that I disconnect this heavy softener, take it up a flight of stairs, put it in my car and drive it to them to look at.  Obviously even if I could do that, it would not be a way to test the softness of my water.  This was there attempt to tell themselves that they did something about it.

Basically I am a fixed income senior citizen that they took advantage of by installing a worn out, tired old unit that they removed from a new installation.

The positive reviews must be created by this company. Do not hire them as they cannot be trusted.  I am out $1181, and will be buying another unit from somebody else.
