As I was a victim of a scam I went on a search on the internet to manage how to report or deal with scams. I visited the site https://www.scamdoc.com/ were I came across an add for funds recovery.
The add came from a company named EmpireFund Recovery and they listed a website as moneylostrecovery.com on their add.
I opened a chat option and entered my e-mail address and briefly explained my situation.
The next day a person by the name of Owen Kozak, who identified himself as a Senior Refund Executive, contacted me via e-mail : owen.kozak@moneylostrecovery.com
Gave me a fraud report number: 440358000016412210
On February 15th 2024, a person by the name of Michael Williams (michaelwilliams@moneylostrecovery.com) contacted me by WhatsApp from various numbers, but texted me mostly through
+64 210 233 3977 under a Best Refund Inc banner, who initialized a "refund process".
After various transactions, and after doing some digging on the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) site I realized that I was being scammed once again.
The alleged Michael Williams used a REF# JSB00013 that belongs to a Jeremy Simon Leonard Brooks from Brooks Wealth Management LLP, in Bristol, in Avon, UK.
And I interrupted all communication afterwards.
