Paid this company $12,500 in a deposit and 2 draws, and they did not finish the job, or even complete it 40% of the way. There were numerous issues from the start like not getting a building contract, failing the footing inspection, requesting more money than what was originally outlined in his contract that stated the full amount "covered all materials and labor". Every day there was a new issues that would cause me lost time at work, and moreso, a lot of distress.

When he did build the frame, and placed the trusses, the building was 7'3 high on left side, and 9'6 high on right side. It was a disastor! This man was in way over his head and clearly did not know what he was doing! He specialized in decks and renovations, and though I took a chance asking him to build this barn, he assured me numerous times that he could do it and that it would be amazing.

He also told me he stood by his work and guaranteed satifaction! On the night i texted to tell him I was putting a stop payment on the most previous draw of $2000 I gave him that day due to the horrible work, he did not reply. Typically he would reply very quickly. Thenext morning at 7am, he showed up with his girlfiend, Cathy Crane Atwell, to steall all of the building materials on the ground for my barn and that were purchased with my money I'd paid him.

The police had to become involved. But, since he had the reciepts for it (again from my $12,500K I'd paid) the officer couldn't take it away and said I would need to take him to court, which I am going to do now.
