BetterMe Continued to charge my card even after cancelling my account. And refuse to refund.

BetterMe I signed up to give it a try but wasn't for me. The next day, I tried to cancel my account but couldn't find the option to cancel account. Instead they have you send in a request for cancellation and you confirm it by clicking on the confirmation link in the email. Which I did.

Never received any other email from them, assuming my account was now cancelled. Two months go by and I noticed 2 charge from Betterme. I contact their customer support about the charges. Their claiming that they couldn't locate a cancellation request from me. But yet I have the email to prove it. To get a refund according to their refund rules, I have to demonstrate that I followed the program but it didn't work for me.

Or I must contact them within 30 days after the initial purchase and before the end of my subscription ends which I did. And because they couldn't locate the cancellation request they won't give me back my money. But when I told them that I would be filing a report, they're willing to meet me halfway and give me a refund of $14.28, half of one month's subscription fee. But yet they charged me almost $70 for something I had no use of.

After doing some research and reading reviews, I'm not the only one they refuse to refund. There are many who stated in their review that they make it so difficult to cancel your account and their refusal to give your money back.
