Monster Reservation Group - misleading and deceptive, refused to honor the verbal agreement made at the time of sale. Myrtle Beach South Carolina

I booked a vacation package through Monster Reservation Group / Booksi.com on 5/4/25. Before purchasing, I spoke with a sales representative who told me I would have three days to cancel the booking for a full refund if I changed my mind.

I decided to cancel less than two hours later and called the customer service number provided. I was placed on hold for nearly an hour, and when I finally spoke to someone, they told me the purchase was non-refundable. They also claimed the terms and conditions clearly stated this, but I had read them thoroughly—and they do not mention anything about the purchase being final or non-refundable.

The company gave me false information before the sale and then denied the refund by pointing to terms that don’t exist. This feels like intentional misrepresentation. I am now stuck with a charge for a vacation I canceled well within the time I was promised.

I’m concerned that other consumers may fall into the same trap and hope this report helps hold the company accountable.
