I first met Bill Bernardo - the founder of Winpro - at a trade show. I told him about our dog and he convinced me to buy a large quantity of his so-called "scientifically proven" supplements. After two weeks of taking the supplements, our dog got sick and his legs swelled up and he started bleeding everywhere. We took him to the Vet and after days of exams, blood work, testing, MRI's, I mentioned to the Vet that we'd been giving our dog these supplements. The doctor asked us to bring them into the clinic. Sure enough, these so-called "scientifically proven" treats were making our beloved dog sick. Bill Bernardo is a scam artist and his company Winpro is bad news. Stay far away from them if you love your pet. I read on a consumer reviw web site that Bill Bernardo and his wife committed insurance fraud. They pocketed hundreds of thousands of dollars that the insurance company paid. The money was supposed to be used for repairs on one of their several homes, but they cheated the contractor out of that money and committed fraud. Shame on them. They are complete con artists and will bilk you out of your money. Bill Bernardo and Winpro do not care about the health of your dog. Bill Bernardo only cares about lining his own pockets.

This was written by David Effress who falsly represented RM Hinton Contruction and approached us immediately after Hurricane Michael. Our house in Florida was badly damaged by Hurricane Micheal and David, like a lot of con artists swooping in after the storm, approached us and in our desperation sold us on a phony bill of goods.
Everything in this complaint is false and fabricated and it's simply an attack on me and my company. I never met him at a trade show. I willinging gave him a single sample of one our great WINPRO products after I met him in Florida before we fired him. He never bought a thing.
He told me his dog loved WINPRO and that he would buy it again. In fact he raved about it. This compalint is nothing but backlash and vendetta against complaints I filed against him and RM Hinton months ago (you can read them at Pissed Consumer and The Complaint Board).
WINPRO is based on great science. It does work. It does not make dogs sick. It is amazing stuff and helps dogs thrive. This sorry soul is simply attacking me, my company and my wife (how sick) to get at me and my wife who hated him from the beginning.
We did hire Dave Effress to represent us as an independent claims adjustor after the storm. It was the biggest mistake we ever made. And Frontine Insurance worked hand in hand with us and, no thanks to David Effress, we settled the claim and are a happy Frontline customer to this day.
David Effress is a pathelogical liar and we learned this the hard way. Do not let this frustrated sorry soul tarnish my name, the company I represent (WINPRO) and the great products we make. If you want to hear THE REAL STORY pick up the phone and give me a call...515-218-5783.
I'll be glad to talk to you...And Mr. Effress, if you're reading this response, you will be hearing from my attorney soon. P.S. to all those reading this...I do not draw a salary from WINPRO. Not a dime. I'm in this for the dogs. So there's another rebuttal to the David Effress B.S. machine...
