BioRestore is an utter catastrophe. Their utter disregard for quality and their relentless pursuit of profit at the expense of unsuspecting clients is nothing short of infuriating. I urge you vehemently: do not place your trust in them. Despite their claims of a prestigious 40-year history, it's abundantly clear that their commitment to excellence has vanished into thin air. This company is a disgrace through and through.

Let me recount my distressing encounter with BioRestore. It all began on [date], when I started noticing issues that ultimately traced back to a mold infestation. Alarmed by this discovery, I sought the expertise of three different testing vendors to confirm the problem, and unfortunately, BioRestore was among them.

Their assessment uncovered a leak under my sink, which had led to mold growth in the basement. They recommended a comprehensive mold remediation and basement encapsulation, a substantial undertaking costing a jaw-dropping $27,818.19, which I promptly payed.

But here's where the nightmare truly began. The BioRestore team assigned to the task consisted of an incompetent lead and two individuals who appeared to be relatives and were clearly inexperienced in such work.

Their incompetence was staggering. They botched critical aspects of the job, such as failing to install a vapor barrier in most of the crawlspace, a fact I discovered only later when I had someone inspect and document their sloppy work.

Not only did they neglect to reinstall the sink and dishwasher upon completion, but they also left mold festering beneath floor mats in the basement, disregarding basic cleaning protocols altogether.

Their negligence extended to damaging the HVAC system by removing a crucial tube, mishandling the sump pump installation, and leaving behind cavities where kitchen cabinetry and the dishwasher once stood.

Even after they claimed to have finished, another company I hired uncovered a plethora of issues, from mold infestations in various areas to significant deficiencies in the vapor barrier.

And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, BioRestore had the audacity to inform me that they had been sold or merged into a new entity bearing the same name. Despite their assurances to rectify the mess they created, dealing with the new management was a nightmare in itself. Instead of taking accountability, the owner or manager had the gall to complain about having to fix their predecessor's mistakes.

BioRestore also claimed they lacked adequate crews to promptly address the issues, hastily slapping on a shoddy vapor barrier of such poor quality that it would tear with the slightest touch. Their choice of tape was equally abysmal, as it would not adhere to anything.

After enduring this ordeal, I had no choice but to enlist the help of another company to rectify the havoc wreaked by BioRestore. The final bill for their incompetence amounted to $5,425.00, a fair price for the extensive scope of their failures. Yet, when I approached BioRestore's owner or manager for reimbursement, they refused to take responsibility, leaving me to pick up the pieces of their incompetence.

Mold remediation isn't just a cost; it's an investment in health and safety. It's a critical endeavor that demands the expertise of dedicated professionals who take pride in their work. My concern extends beyond my own experience with BioRestore; I worry for future customers who may not conduct the same level of diligence in ensuring the job is done right. There's a real fear that without careful attention to detail, mold issues will persist, posing a threat to the well-being of occupants and the integrity of their property. We owe it to ourselves and to others to demand nothing less than excellence in mold remediation efforts.
