My SMU College student was in Ft Worth visiting friends when she was involved in an auto accident. 

She immeadiately called us and we were arrainging our All state road side assistance to tow the vehicle, but campus police had this company come, and  had her believe that the towing service was free, since we wanted to have the car towed to a home. The large male driver said it was free and they would call us. NEVER did they tell her it was a impound company . It was classic bait and switch. 

They never called and when I called 2 days later I was met with a rude woman who every other word was "hold" and she would leave the conversation. She accused my daughter of her "perception" being incorrect.  she said she could not retrieve the car without paying 361. dollars because that is the law. These people exploited my out of town daughter and convinced her it would not be safe to stay and wait for our road sside assistance, even though after they arrived she wanted to call.  She states its the law and she couldnt wave the fee if she wanted to. These people are horribly unethical and more than likely ride the line of illeagal. They used the situatuion to their advantage and held our car hostage. Who ever owns this company should fire the woman who answers the phone, she is the worst thing for the sustainability of this comnpany God help them if she runs the place, she should be a work from home night shift employee for Chewy.com 

We plan to hire an attorney . Hopefully we can at least prevent this from happening to others.
