Blu Marine Diving LLC FRAUDULENT OVERCHARGE North Bay Village FL

We hired Blu Marine Diving LLC to clean our boat bottom and check the condition of the zinc anodes. Dre Howes came out, cleaned the bottom, and said the shaft, transom and trim tab zincs all needed to be replaced at the next monthly bottom cleaning. When he came out the following month he showed us all the new replacement zincs he was going to install and charged us for all the zincs that day. We paid the invoice that same day for the bottom cleaning and parts and labor for replacing the transom, shaft and both trim tab zincs.

Several days later I donned a mask & snorkel and dived down under the boat to check his work. It was clear that the trim tab zincs had not been replaced.  I took a picture with my Go Pro. The following month when he came out to bottom clean I showed him the picture I had taken. To which he replied that I had never asked him to replace the trim tab zincs. This was not true, since he had charged us $60 plus labor for those zincs on his paid invoice.

It made me wonder how many other customers he had done this to over the years who had not bothered to check under their boats!
