Bodafide Auto Sales Peter Boda Failed to Provide refund for Rollback Odometer Headingley Manitoba

This is how Bodafide Auto took 76,354.95CA$ from us. 

We purchased a 2018 GMC Denali with VIN 1GT42YEY6JF285455 from Peter Boda on the 15th of March 2023 from Canada.

 We transported and stored the vehicle at our subcontractor’s location in Shelby Township, MI, USA.

 Upon importing to the US, Glovis discovered an issue with the odometer not being correct on the title back In June of 2023. The odometer had been rolled back.

The vehicle was titled in our name

 During Phone calls, Peter requested for the title claiming he would fix the issue at Manheim.

On July 3rd, 2023, Glovis to an understanding that we would get or the cash back, we sent the title (Michigan title MI0017528408) to Peter to resolve the issue. We had no intention to give him both the car and the title.

 During that time, unbeknownst to us, Peter took the car from the storage facility without our permission.

 Again, This was not part of the deal.

 We believed that Peter was going to have Manheim, the auction house to discuss the issue with the title and would then present us our options.

 We did not sell the vehicle to Peter but Peter took possession of the car.

 Instead, the vehicle was sold on April 2024  which was not part of the arrangement.

 We had not sold the car to Peter or anyone else. Despite all this, we have not been made whole and Peter avoids our calls.

 He claims we owe him money but has failed to provide original invoices.
