It claims to be located on 38-11 Ditmars Blvd, #2094, Astoria (NYC) but a certified letter I sent could not be delivered. The address is that of a commercial mailbox business. I know of no other names. The owner, Mrs. Casey White, is a prolific author of fantasy, dark and magic books who offers services as ghost writer. Her page on Amazon claims that she is a resident of Michigan. The two marketers with whom I interacted, Chris Matthews and Jack Hudson had phone numbers showing respectively two remote very small towns in Wyoming (Powell and Glen Rock) I had paid in cash $3,000 for 3 months of a book marketing campaign. The assigned marketers were incompetent and unresponsive. I withdrew and they ignored my requests to refund the money.

Being in search of marketing experts for my newly self-published book in February 2022, I discovered the web of Books Marketeers which offered a comprehensive expert three months campaign, for which I paid $3,000. The benefits offered are exactly the same quoted by the previous complainant. Unfortunately the marketers assigned to me were indifferent, slow and not knowledgeable of the specific needs of my sector and ignored my requests and urgent problems. After 2 months having achieved nothing I ended the assignment and they refused to answer any of my requests to refunds.

I do not know whether this firm is incorporated or not but it is owned or run by a Ms. Casey White, known for her recent books on fantasy or magic novels published in Reddit and Amazon (The Library, Silvertongue, Remnants of Magic Duology, Magick (sic) Without Tools, Wanderer...). Their web site identifies their address as 3811 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria (Queens), New York 11105, Box 2094, but a certified letter I sent them could not be delivered by the Postal Office and the Box Nr. belongs to a commercial mailbox company. Additionally the web page of Amazon offering her books identifies Michigan as her residence. The website of the company had shown a picture of seated workers next to big windows, which cannot be present in the Google street picture of the place. One of the two marketers I contacted told be that it was or had been the owner's address.

The two marketers mentioned above, Chris Matthews and Jack Hudson utilized telephones that showed an origin of the call in two Wyoming communities, Powell and Glen Rock. These are really small and remote communities. This is frequently done by common telephone marketers and I concluded that they had no special training or knowledge. Time went by and 2 months later I still had no website. Rather tan reading my complaints and directions, thez passed them on to a computer person who had a limited knowledge of the English language and made unacceptable errors, like splitting my name between two lines or putting a point between my first and last name or merging words in the title. There were also grandiose claims that I would not accept and even a false praising quote. Finally I moved to cancel the contract after two months. Jack Hudson announced that the matter would be discussed by the finance people, but I could get no additional response or information. My $ 3,000 had been lost for nothing.

Although irrelevant to my case, I would like to add that their website offers ghost writer services to readers. These could submite a brief summary of the action of a coming chapter and the ghost writers would write the chapter and, after finished, they would take care of the publication. Although nothing of this is illegal, it necessarily sounds abhorrent to many authors.
