BTL Aesthetics - Preyed upon to buy their devices then pressured sale Marlborough MA

To say I was preyed upon is an understatement.  The sales reps constantely made meetings to meet with me and sold me a narrative that was not true I had later learned.  They sold me the narrative that they would ensure sucess with their medical devices and would have a team helping me but aside from that, I would be their medical liaison to other medical practitioners in answering their questions about the devices and even doing demos for potenital buyers in my medical office.  I would need to buy the devices and would have a grace period with no payments for 6-months so I could get a foundation set up, of using the devices and have provided multiple treatments during this time so I could act as the liaison. 

The first lie came when they said the company would fly me out to attend one of their conferences, only to never receive a dime for my travel as they claimed they would. 

The second lie came when a contract was signed for their medical devices (EXION and EMFace), the part of the EXION device that was of interest to work into my current patient base was for vaginal rejuvination and pelvic pain, was never provided to me.  When I inquired about the missing part the day I recevied the EXION the representative told me "it would come later". Weeks later when two more reps came to help me get familiar with the devices and how they work I asked whene the missing part was at only to be told then that I never purchased it.  I asked to get a copy of my contract since I never got a copy to show that I recall signing for that part as that was the whole reason why I actualy would move forward the sale since I had a patient base for that services and not for all the other functions of the EXION.  I kept getting gaslight by different reperesentatives of the company with diffrent narratives, only to finally show in black and while when receiving a copy of my contract that I was right in what I said I purchased.  But at that time, a lot more had transpired {EXION machine kept malfunctioning) that I already had to get legal counsel involved. 

The EXION machine I purchased came with evidence of mud splashes at the bottom of the device, in which not only did I notice it but also the company representative did too and even took photos to document the condition of this "new" medical device.  Within the same week in which I received the training of the devices I had decided to do demos on myself so I could get familiar in running the devices, only to continually have the EXION device continually shut down during treatments.  The company not only replaced this machine once but also replaced some of the other parts of the EXION machine, only to have the same results throughout the process.  Around this point my legal counsel began to negotiate with their general counsel of reversing all contracts not only with BTL but also their "preferred financing company" MMP Capital.  

Despite my effort to fight for my rights in this expensive fraudulent deal made with BTL (and MMP Capital), they purposely would drag out communication but now understand that they were likely trying to have me evenutally run out of money to pay my attorney and they were right.  In the end they decided they didnt want to reverse anything and left me to figure thing out on my own (and in my case it meant bankruptcy).  MMP Capital, their financing company, quickly sold the loan I made with them to an unsuspecting company as they knew what would happen with me, that is I would need to file for bankruptcy as I wouldn't be able to afford payments for the devices.  

Buyer beware - DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS with BTL Aesthetics.  Even though I had left a poor review on the BBB, they have since removed themselves because I was not the only one who left them a bad review but so did others.  They had less than a 2-star rating but can no longer be seen since they removed themselves to avoid others like me from continually warning others of their bad business practices.  Likewise with their Google profile, they had others like myself make a bad review but it can no longer be visible to the public.  As a business owner I know what they are doing and this dishonesty is only to prey upon other small business owners like myself in the health care space.  STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!  I have receipts of all that I have written here so I know I am not committing defammation as defammation is based on opinion and not facts - my review here is all based on FACTS that I have saved in my records.
