Donovan Camarotti of Camarotti Homes fraudulently rented to own a home to us claiming it had recently been remodeled and was in excellent condition. When we got here the place was in a shambles. The screened in pool area was in tatters and hanging. The air conditioning was not working. The plumbing in the bathroom was not working. There was no refrigerator which was listed in the listing as being provided. The water filtration system is broken and foul smelling water is coming out of the plumbing which is undrinkable. It is dirty as well. The dishwasher was never mounted and is coming out of the hole it's in. The piece of the cupboard next to it is laying on the floor because when you open the door it pulls the entire unit out of the hole. It has never been secured.

The microwave blows a fuse when it is turned on. There are other electrical issues as well. The pool pump and breakers went out. The drawers in the kitchen are miss mounted and have gaps so that things fall out. They were to provide an American Home Warrenty Policy and they did not. We moved 2500 miles to move into this home. We have made written and verbal requests and demands for these items to be fixed. They have stalled and denied fixing them. They have been informed that safe drinking water is required to be provided by the landlord. They refuse to fix it. They attempted to extort $200,000 From us in writing. We refused. We are senior citizens. I am 73 and Karl is 67. They have made verbal and written threats to evict us and filed an eviction notice against us today to harrass us. Donovan and his investor are fully aware of the illegality of their actions. I told them 2 weeks ago that I would be filing complaints to proper authorities and getting an attorney. Donovan called my fiancé and apologized. They have not done anything to fix the issues. Last Friday his investor called and threatened my fiancé again.

They are fully aware of the laws they are breaking. I have all the texts with Donovan's threats. His managers denials to fix the issues and the contract we signed that clearly states there is a warranty in place to cover all the faulty issues we are faced with. This company and Donovan are fraudulent scammers who prey on senior citizens through threats and extortion and need to be arrested. We are filing a criminal complaint against them.
