Camping World ( Gander co) of Rossford ohio Camping world did not do as promised Rossford OH

Camping World ( Gander co) of Rossford ohio My husband and I purchased a 1995 airstream land yacht RV. Shortly after the purchase we took the RV to camping world in Rossford Ohio to be looked over, make any repairs and make sure it was safe and drivable across country. I purchased a package totally 1154.00$ which was to include a multitude of items. It was basically to check the RV from front to back. Awning was also included and was supposed to be be cleaned and if there were any issues, such as tears, they would fix those.

I was also under the impression that leaks would be checked out. Holding tanks, cracks or otherwise on top of the RV, checking the generator, refrigerator and etc. you get the picture. Now they had our RV for close to 6 weeks and we had told the sales person we were leaving to travel across the states. So it was right about a month before we opened the awning for example. Lo and behold the awning was FILTHY, both ends ripped and the one arm was bent some. Secondly, there’s a huge leak in the front windshield and on a side window.

The top of the TV does not look like it at as cleaned or waxed. Now, someone did put water in the one holding tank. I assume to check something. There are a few other areas of concern but I’ll leave it where it is. We called the Rossford store. We spoke w/ the service manager and he sounded like he cared but then did not call us back after calling him three times. We did get to speak to the sales lady. She basically made excuses and tried to say they took pictures. If they had they would see the issues!! So we did take pictures and emailed them to her. I am just beside myself! I don’t want the moon and stars. I just want this rectified; preferably by way of actually fixing the issues.

Sadly, I’ve lost all confidence in the company and I feel like the 1154.00$ is lost. I feel like we were scammed to be real honest. The sales lady acted as if it was our fault and there’s nothing she can do. It’s so sad that we paid them to do what they said they would do and now I don't think they did anything but take our money. Rossford OH
