This is regarding Canyon Lake Property Association Marine Patrol. I am writing this so that other residents do not get ripped off. I have been a homeowner in Canyon Lake since 1987, I purchased my house all cash then and I own five (5) other houses elsewhere all paid in all cash. The Canyon Lake Marine Patrol has attempted to issue citations based upon so called complaints from residents that had a video of some supposed violations when all they had was what a resident told them about a video that never existed and then the officer attempted to pass it off as if they actually observed the violation which of course they never did. Two so called "Marine Patrol Officers" Marion (Sam) Wilson 909-735-7287 and Scott Sempson 951-249-5128 were the ones who attempted to pass off only what they had "heard" as the basis for a citation. Also, there is some person in the officer named Derek Alderson 912-432-0882 that is this biggest tattletale ever to exist. Of course, body cam footage revealed no actual violation occurring and no admission ever. Also, the so called "captain (?)" Don Moteller or whoever he calls himself only worked in construction prior to this and is being investigated by the police. Any citation issued by the Canyon Lake Marine Patrol can be beaten, if it hasn't been already. Don't be suckered, they are only looking for stool pigeons, scapegoats or people looking to burn money in the fireplace. Canyon Lake Marine Patrol is nothing but a scam . . .

So Called Captain Don Moteller's background would not clear with Allied Universal as he is a convicted felon
AUTHOR: Officer De Buse - (United States)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, August 02, 2023
Apparently before Canyon Lake Property Owner's Association assumed control of Marine Patrol from Allied Universal, the so called captain Don Moteller attempted to become the captain while it was still operated by Allied Universal. Of course, he had to submit a live scan fingerprint check which took way too long to come back, and when it did it showed he was a convicted felon who can never possess a firearm, ammunition, have a regular job, etc. Maybe that is why he worked in construction previously? That is why Allied Universal never had him as Captain under their control. But when then Canyon Lake POA only did some commercial background check it did not show up due to FCRA requirements. So called captain Don Moteller is a convicted felon no two ways about it cannot legally own a firearm, etc. Is this who you want running Canyon Lake Marine Patrol or even a trip to the toilet for that matter?
