Caroline Ryther and her company Client Capture Systems formerly Funnel Founders appears to be just another lead generation scammer preying on the small business community.

Her LinkedIn page says “Lead Generation Services for Coaches & Consultants | Get 1-5 LEADS Weekly SCALE Month-Over-Month Results in 60 Days”

Her website says “1-5 WARM LEADS!..EVERY WEEK..!” at least five times.

I don’t know who’s writing her supposed testimonials and dream results because my experience wasn’t anything close. In fact, it was an investment in time and money nightmare. It starts out pleasant. Every con and scam does. You talk with a very pleasant guy calling from his backyard somewhere down south. You end up on a call with Caroline out of the New York “office.”

Each of them, on every call, and subsequent email, are not only very willing to, but repeatedly tell you you’ll get 2-3 leads a week consistently after 60 days guaranteed or your money back.

If you’re running a business this sounds at least worth listening to.  To get 2-3 actual warm leads a week, based on your criteria, every week and all I need to do is to give you 800/mo. For a busy entrepreneur those numbers seem to work depending on your profit/sale.

I’m retired and my program just needs to pay for itself so that sounds okay. She pushes some “standard” paperwork at you. You sign it and get started coordinating the responses that her people will be sending out to organically generate those 2-3 leads/wk.

A month goes by, and nothing happens. …well, that was expected, she said 60 days. Then it happens. You get a lead. Well, that’s a start until you follow up with the “lead” and it doesn’t go anywhere. I got a total of 8 of these “leads” over the next 3 weeks. It looked like it was starting to work. Except NONE of the “leads” turned into anything. And then they just stopped.

$800/mo for three months; $2400 total, for nothing. I could have just dropped that on Facebook ads and would have gotten on average 15-20 leads/day and at least 2 sales and in less time. Yes, I lost the time but there’s her guarantee. It’s on her site. It’s what I was told on the calls. There shouldn’t be a problem. Or so I thought.

I asked for a refund and all of a sudden, she references the fine print in her standard paperwork. “if 1 landing page optin is generated, the refund policy is void”. Typical scammer. Generate one tenth of a result you claim and then try to weasel out on the fine print, policies.

She is willing and eager to charge your card month after month and somehow feels justified in doing so if she produces just one optin. Have you ever noticed that the scammer always feels that they’re the victim?Avoid Caroline Ryther and her company Client Capture Systems. It’s an amazing big waste of time energy and money.

I’ve been in business for close to 40 years and I think that this is the first time I’ve ever had to write something like this. Every small businessperson should be warned of her, her company and it’s “business” practices. And then should lock the doors, block all communication from her and run for the hills.

I’ve found this to me nothing but a rip off.
