Carona Liquidators Phil Carona supposedly handles estate sales Lake Zurich IL

Phil Carona does a great job at selling you on his network of auction houses, buyers, and ability to recognize value in items. My family was looking to liquidate a large selection of items including antique furniture, tools, clocks, Boyd Bears, toys, pedal car, collectibles, magazines, dolls, Christmas stuff, and many unique items. Much of it new in the original boxes. Phil arranged a day to come out on 3/10/24 with a crew and clean out hundreds of square feet of items with two trucks. He had planned on coming back and taking more furniture and a large selection of tools. He also tried to convince me he could move some antique boats and cars. 

Towards the end of July, months later, I thought this is odd that I haven’t heard from a guy that took so much stuff to sell and was looking for an update. Many emails and texts were ignored. He finally reached out and said nothing, absolutely nothing he picked up had any value! Therefore, there would be no funds forwarded. Now, this is odd coming from a guy claiming to be an expert in the field. Why would he pay to have a crew pick it all up if it had no value? This was after looking it over and telling me it was great stuff and would sell very well in his network. 

I can only say I'm glad  I didn’t let him take cars and boats and hundreds of tools! Whatever you do, do not be conned by this scammer. Very friendly, nice talker, just like every scammer I have ever met.
