Cash Net USA Eric Foster - ID Number 6097 Contacted me to let me know I was approved for a 10K loan.

I received a call from Eric Cox, ID Number 6072 from Cash Net USA.  He claimed that I was approved for a $10k loan.  He followed up with me on 1/6/2021 asking for my bank information.  He stated that because my credit was not great that they were going to reach out to the Federal Credit Bureau and were going to work with them to fix my credit and once that was all set they would deposit the funds into my bank.  He stated that they deposit $500 - $1500 into my account and for me not to touch it as this was money that was going to back to the Federal Credit Bureau to help fix my credit and receive my loan. 

After a few minutes something did not sit right with me so I changed all of my banking information (yes I gave them my user id and password as I was desperate for help).  I reached out to CashNetUSA and asked if this person worked for them.  They let me know that they never give out their full names and that this was indeed a fraud.  They have sent me information to file a fraud report. 

I am going to reach out to the bank to ensure that the "funds" are blocked as I believe they may end up sending a cashier's check that is fraudulent or try to wipe my account.  Luckily there is nothing there at the moment so there is nothing to take out... The number Eric Cox called from was 872-215-1044.  Not sure if anyone else has dealt with this but apparently his name is very popular in the search history.
