Central Roofing Illinois - DECEPTIVE TACTICS and LIES to rip off a SENIOR CITIZEN, then threatened a LIEn to force payment Mattoon IL

AVOID THIS COMPANY PLEASE!! .. my dad was not told what to expect..by your incompetent, corner cutting, lying rep, Derrick....THAT is the problem.  The deal would possibly have never been done if Derrick was competent and honest, and advised my dad of what to expect, as well as the management at Central roofing of what coverage my dad had and didn't have.. so please stop with the explanation of how business works, and that you need to make profits..yada yada yada..I am not an idiot..I KNOW that.   Derrick took the insurance info and was too lazy apparently to do his job correctly.. if he HAD done his job, then my dad could have known his options properly.  My dad trusted Central Roofing to contact his insurance company like EVERY OTHER roofing rep does..

not only did Derrick apparently not do so, he LIED about us "not mentioning" ANYTHING about insurance until AFTER the roof was done.... and you keep acting like you don't see ANY issue with that.  And the fact Derrick did not do his job correctly has now put my dad in bind.... If you can't understand the issue here, then you are being willfully ignorant. 

Derrick LIED and DECEIVED not only my dad, but frankly your company as well..apparently he wanted the deal to go through.. and since the insurance was apparently not the right type..or he didn't want to "bother" dealing with them, he wrote it up as "retail"... knowing any difference in payout vs. actual cost would fall on my dads shoulders, he didn't care, because HE is getting PAID. 

Now that the house of cards is falling, the simple solution for Derrick is to now claim he "didn't know we had an insurance claim before the roof was installed".. total horses**t.  You honestly believe for 2 MONTHS before the roof was installed that nobody brought up the subject of insurance on a hail damaged roof?? ....

Not Derrick, not my dad, not me, nobody... c'mon.. you just CAN'T be this gullible... I ain't buying it.  Insurance was the MAIN topic of discussion during our first few contacts with Derrick.. there is NO POSSIBLE way he "forgot" that..   Going back through the emails, it is apparent that Derrick purposely avoided mentioning insurance in any emails prior to 12/17/24..he KNEW it would incriminate him once this came to a head... he stuck to using phone calls and talking in person.. but I will swear on a Bible that we discussed it long before the roof was put on.. and you are dealing with a GOD fearing man who keeps the commandments mind you. 

I did not even THINK that he would later claim insurance was not a factor from the get go..heck I still can't believe he is claiming that.. and it's even more unbelievable that you guys are doubling down with him on it.... unreal.
