DO NOT HIRE: Casey from "Change in Latitudes Mobile RV Solutions" / "Marine Time" - RV SCAMMER I called Casey (352-502-6582) to replace a dead RV battery. He came empty-handed even though he knew what was wrong ahead of time. Instead of replacing the battery, he claimed it also needed a new converter - both had to be "ordered." He carries no parts, uses your tools, and charges a service fee each visit. When he finally came back days later, he installed both the battery and converter. At that moment, the air conditioner turned on and was working. Then, he said he wanted to "check something up top." He climbed onto the roof, and minutes later, we smelled burning. He SHOUTED "OH NO." I asked what happened, and he started blaming everything but himself - the power pole, the unit, the fan, the "computer board." Then came the upsell: he tried to convince me to buy a $10,000 A/C system, saying he was installing those "right now." I refused and told him I just wanted the existing air fixed. He promised to return on Thursday the 17th, then delayed to Saturday the 19th - then ghosted us completely. No call. No show. No response. We've now been stuck in a camper for over 10 days without air, in 105°F heat, with 3 people and 2 dogs. On top of that, he overloaded and burned out our second A/C unit, even though he told us to run it "for now." When I texted to tell him the second unit died, he blamed Duke Energy, sent a screenshot of a portable A/C from Lowe's, and then ignored or blocked me. He never warned us that the payment would go through under the name "Marine Time," not his advertised business. That's deceptive. He also admitted he didn't know how to do other RV repairs we asked about - door hinge, water seal, hurricane straps - despite claiming to be a full-service RV tech. I'm out $500, and the damage he caused could cost thousands. He is not a certified tech, not reliable, and absolutely should not be trusted around your RV or your family's safety. Do NOT hire Casey.
