I purchased the "5 Day Blitz" program from Cherrington Media after watching Adam Cherrington’s video sales letter (VSL). In the VSL, Adam made bold claims about achieving quick and significant results, stating that participants would accomplish in five days what would take other affiliate marketers three to six months. He also promised that if results weren't achieved, he would either provide personal coaching or refund the money because, as he emphasized, he cared more about his students' success than their money.
However, after completing the program, not only did I fail to see any of the results promised, but I ended up losing a significant amount of money in the process. I was offered additional coaching from someone else, but by that point, I had lost confidence in Adam’s method due to my financial losses and the lack of transparency in the program. I reached out directly to Adam for months, requesting a refund as outlined in the VSL. Unfortunately, despite his claims of being honest and caring about student success, Adam did not respond to my attempts to resolve the matter.
When I formally requested a refund, Cherrington Media denied my request, citing:
-
A lack of a signed agreement.
-
The time that had passed since my participation.
I believe these points are irrelevant for the following reasons:
-
The VSL itself serves as an informal agreement under consumer protection laws, which recognize the explicit guarantees made in promotional materials. In the video, Adam clearly states that if results aren't achieved, a refund would be provided. This was part of his marketing, and there should be no need for a signed contract when these terms were publicly stated.
-
I have been reaching out for months, trying to resolve this issue.
Adam Cherrington's failure to honor the guarantees he made in his own promotional video undermines his claim of caring more about his students' success than their money. His unwillingness to refund, despite failing to deliver the results promised, has left me not only financially strained but also completely disillusioned with the entire program.
