I'm writing this review to save you money. I paid $130.00 for this fan plus the ice booster. In their YouTube Ad, they report that the water fill lasts for hours and the battery lasts for 8 hours. Not true, the water lasts about 1.5 hours and the battery lasts a little over one hour. The ice booster lasts around 30 minutes and the attachment that holds the ice booster won't stay on the back of the fan. The booster gets in the way of the port for the USB. Because the battery only holds a charge for about an hour, it is necessary to keep the fan plugged in while it is running. Therefore the ice booster gets in the way of the port and cannot be used.

This fan is made in China. You can buy a water-cooling fan that is equivalent to the Chillwell fan for around $20 from Temu or Aliexpress. I could have saved myself $100. Don't buy the Chillwell fan. It is way overpriced!

I was an impulsive idiot to buy this without doing my research first. Chillwells' refund policy is this:

"Assuming you return your purchase within 60 days from receipt, to be eligible for a return:

  1. Product must be in brand new condition, unused/unworn and it its original packaging.
  2. Product packaging must be intact and returned to us in an appropriate shipping container.
  3. Product must be returned to the return facility address provided by our customer service."

Additionally, their terms and conditions cover their false advertising with this statement:"SECTION 3 - ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk."
