Chukum Tulum Chukum Tulum USA,AMADO M PECH VARGAS, Miguel Vargas Send deposit and never replied or did job. Scam company Miami Florida

My wife and I decided to look for a unique was to finish the interior of our new condo. We found a company called Chukum Tulum on instagram and were drawn to the look of the plaster like finish we fell in love with when we were in Tulum. We contacted Chukum Tulum on IG which then led to us communicating on whatsapp. We speak very little spanish and its apparent they speak very little english, but the translat feature of the apps made it ok to communicate. 

We invited the team of 3 different people to our Miami condo to look over the space and provide us a quote. The condo is about 2000 sq ft 3br/3.5 bath. We received a quote for around $15,000 for material and doing the application. We agreed and let them know that when the construction was completed they would be able to start. A few months went by and it was finally time to get this project moving along. We contacted Miguel who was very responsive and asked me to send 40% deposit to him to secure the material and get us on schedule "Very fast". We had a move in date approaching and notified them of our need to get this done promptly. Our GC who we became friendly with spoke spanish and we ask him to call Miguel to coordinate everything. Miguel stated he had a slight delay and would get started within a week.  We decided to go ahead and wire the money. From this point all of a sudden, the commuication began to get less and less. We wpould send messages asking when they planned to start and we would get a reply 24 hours later the they were still working on previous project and to be patient. We waited and waited and so i asked our GC to call him again and see whats going on on whatsapp. He said the product was in customs and the previous project was still delayed. He said at this point if we couldnt wait, to canel the project and he would agree to refund the depost. We had wasted 2 weeks now and had paid our previopus landlord 2  more weeks to extend our lease, and still not start date in sight. We needed to finish the job, so we could move, so we agreed to just canel and he agreed to return the deposit. 

I hired a new company to do a similar type of finish and continued to message miguel repeteviely asking where my refund was, he would not reply, then i messaged him on his instagram and he wouldnt reply, then blocked my from his IG accounts. Its been 3  weeks now and still no refund or reply. He has a warehouse address in Doral which I went to and the man named Carlos who worked there called him and he answered the phoe since i was there and stated to Carlos that he would pay me and i would see my money by the end of last week. Today is now Sunday and still no reply or refund. This isnt looking good and i feel I have been scammed and wont see my money, over $5000. I hope nobody else false victim to Miguel, or Amando M Vargas or Chukum Tulum or Chukum tulum USA again like I did. Please be aware they are not reputable and intend to scam you.
