I paid almost 500 dollars for a Mental Wellness/Trauma Challenge and coaching, and I was excited about it but unfortunately came to realize I was unable to attend most of the required sessions due to time. I let them know very early on and they said they would refund the money.
When I paid for it, i was charged twice by mistake. One for around 200 dollars and second for a total of 500 dollars, split into 4 paymentss through afterpay. I let them know and they refunded only a part of it.
The rest of the payments which totalled almost 500 dollars, I ended up having to cancel through my credit card because at first they responded but then they stopped. Since it was 4 separate payments through afterpay it went into collections and I'm still having to fight this.
