C&M Auto Sales Rocky and Shelia unethical business practices, deliberately withheld information, deliberately deceptive, lack in integrity, and very poor mechanical skills. Lavonia Georgia

On August 14, 2021, I purchased a Toyata Camary from C&M Auto Sales, after being told that the only issues with the vehicle was some rattaling in the front end (due to bad Sway Bars/Stabalizer Bars), and that the 2 rear windows were inoperable. My husband asked if they would trust allowing me to drive the Camary to and from Florida, and they stated that they "themselves" would absoulutely drive it on a long trip, and that their vehicles are in excellent condition and would give me thousands of miles of carefree driving. 

Well, I quickly discovered, that due to C&M Auto Sales Extreme Lack of Exposure, this vehicle was unfit, unsafe, and should had been demolished instead of being sold for profit.

August 30, 2021 - Husband tried to jack up the vehicle to replace the bad Sway Bars/Stabalizer Bars, only to find that there was nowhere to attach the jack, because the entire drip rail on the unibody/frame was completely rotted. 

September 5, 2021 - Transmission started slipping.

September 7, 2021 - Transmission completely gone.

September 14, 2021 - We had the vehicle towed to C&M Auto Sales, after speaking to the owner, who told us that we would have to have it towed to his location (out of our pocket), and that he would only pay for half of the cost of the Transmission and Labor.

September 28, 2021 - We picked up the vehicle from C&M Auto Sales. While driving the vehicle home the power steering started having issues. Once we arrived home my husband was checking the power steering fluid, only to find that C&M Auto sales did not bolt down the front motor mount, they just set the bolt inside the hole. My husband tried to screw the bolt back in, yet quickly realized that it could not be screwed in because the threaded receiver hole, was not lining up with the motor mount bracket hole. 

In immense shock,  we immediately called C&M Auto Sales to explain our newest find, only to be told that my husband should just screw in the bolt himself. After my husband explained to C&M Auto Sales that he had tried, and it was not possible due to everything being misaligned, C&M Auto Sales stated that their Machanic could do it blindfolded (At the looks of things, I have to believe that the Machanic was blindfolded while working on this car).

All of this, only because we were trying to bring new business to C&M Auto Sales, and to find a dependable, safe car, yet all we recieved in the end was unethical business practices, deliberately withheld information, deliberately deceptive tactics, lack in integrity, and very poor mechanical skills. On top of, Numerous 1hour trips (back & forth = $300.00 in gas) to C&M Auto Sales, Towing Fees ($182.00), Lost Time/Wages from Work, Numerous phone calls, Tons of unnecessary sarcasm from the Staff. 

Therefore, after many hrs. of unnecessary treatment at the hands of C&M Auto Sales & Staff, we asked for our $3,900.00 for the price of the car back + the $450.00 for our half of the Transmission fees/labor, only to be told that they were tired of dealing with us, and that they would only return $3,800.00 to us (not sure where they came up with that amount), yet I gladly jumped on it, just to end the madness of dealing with this Motley Crew and the beyond Lemon of a car they sold me. 

We also found that C&M Auto Sales strategically placed their C&M Auto Sales Sticker over a North Dakota car dealers sticker, which means this car, if not many of the cars C&M Auto Sales are selling are coming from areas with very brutal weather conditions (rain, floods, snow, salt), which will quickly damage vehicles (like the rotted out unibody of the possessed vehicle I purchased from C&M Auto Sales.

Consumer Protection Laws are in place due to businesses like this.
