To whom it may concern, I am submitting this formal complaint regarding Consumer Genius USA Inc., headquartered at 4500 Bankers Hall East, 855 2 Street SW, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. On February 3, 2025, I entered into a signed Independent Contractor Agreement with the company, under which I was contracted to provide digital media consulting services. I carried out my responsibilities in accordance with the contract until the company, under the leadership of Mr. Paul Hadzoglou (President, paul@consumergenius.com), unilaterally terminated the agreement without prior notice or payment of the amounts owed.

The termination and non-payment constitute clear violations of the signed agreement, and I outline below the specific breaches:

1. Violation of Termination Notice Clause – Article 9.1 According to Article 9.1 of the agreement, either party is required to provide 30 calendar days’ written notice prior to termination. I was not given any such notice. The termination was abrupt and not formalized in writing. This entitles me to an additional $3,000 USD for the notice period not honored.

2. Non-payment for Services Rendered – Articles 4.1 and 4.5 Under Article 4.1, I was entitled to a base salary of $36,000 USD per year, and under Article 4.5, payments were to be made on a semi-monthly basis, upon invoicing. I submitted my final invoice for $2,300 USD, which has not been paid to date. This amount refers to work completed prior to the termination.

3. Breach of Obligations Upon Termination – Article 9.3 As outlined in Article 9.3, upon termination, the company is obligated to pay all accrued fees up to and including the effective date. By failing to pay the pending invoice and not compensating the 30-day notice period, the company is in violation of this clause as well.

Total Amount Owed: $5,300 USD $2,300 USD – Unpaid services rendered $3,000 USD – Compensation for lack of 30-day notice Despite multiple email follow-ups and attempts to resolve the matter directly with Mr. Hadzoglou, the company has not responded or taken any action to correct these contractual violations.

Request for Resolution I respectfully request that:

1. Consumer Genius USA Inc. be held accountable for its breach of contract;

2. The full amount of $5,300 USD be reimbursed;

3. An investigation be initiated into the company’s practices with international contractors. A copy of the signed agreement is attached to this complaint for verification. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely, Antonio Pedro De Faro Carneiro
